Description: Spectra of blackbody radiation

1. Create a black background with a piece of black cloth and one or two retort stands.
2. Place the incandescent filament lamp in front.
3. Connect the lamp with the variac.
4. Mount the diffraction grating with a clamp and retort stand, a few inches in front of the lamp.
5. Turn on the variac and increase the voltage slowly.
6. Observe the blackbody radiation spectrum.
