Description:

1. Use weighted stand. 2. Adjust height of clamp holder so plates swing freely through gap. Method: 1. Clamp hollow metal ring between holder. 2. Hold sample at 30 degree angle. 3. Release it and observe the magnet damp it's swing. 4. Now clamp a metal ring with slit between the holder. 5. Repeat part 2, but note the magnet has little effect. 6. Magnet shows no effect on plastic or wooden samples.
