Faraday's Dynamo and Barlow's Wheel Copper Disc in Magnet

1. Use wooden blocks when putting in conical pole pieces. 
2. Connect as shown in diagram (photo is a similar but different setup).
3. Copper disc and contact should be sanded with fine sand paper. 
4. Avoid using over 9 A at 3 V D.C.

A. Faraday's Dynamo 
1. Turn circuit switch to meter position. 
2. Rotate metal disc by hand in both direction.s 
3. Observe direction of meter movement. 

B. Barlow's Wheel 
1. Turn circuit switch to power supply. 
2. Turn 12 Volt battery charger to ON position. 
3. Turn reversing switch to ON position. 
4. Observe direction of rotation. 
5. Change direction of reversing switch.
