A. 1. Connect as shown 2. Overhead projector should be level 3. Fill ripple tank with water so it covers the plastic beaches 4. Adjust puffer tube to 1/4 inch height above surface 5. Swing puffer motor onto drive wheel 6. Focus overhead onto water surface Method: 1. Turn on overhead and puffer motor 2. Move the puffer from left to right 3. Slowly increase speed of puffer each time 4. Observe the formation of a shock wave B. 1. Check the 9V D.C. battery Method: 1. Turn on buzzer using the latch contact
