Resonance (Frahm's Top and Vibrating Saw Blades)

Description:

Frahm's top:
1. Use overhead projector with focus set high. 
2. Check string for wear and wind up evenly.
3. Hold top over the stage of projector and focus on reeds. 
4. Use a slow steady pull to spin top. 
5. Show that the top is not a gyro by holding it against a hard surface. 
6. Vibrations will be heard. 
7. Focus projector on individual reeds as top slows down. 

For vibrating saw blades:
1. Set up vibrating saw blade apparatus.
2. Crank.
