B. The lycopodium powder should be sprinkled lightly and evenly over the clear transparent tape.

Method:
A. 
1. Turn on light bulb. 
2. Observe rainbow spectrum through transmission grating. 

B. 
1. Turn on light source. 
2. Standing back approx. 5 feet, observe the diffraction rings by looking directly through the lycopodium powder.
